The Minister of State in Charge of TVET Olivier RWAMUKWAYA visited Afri-Precast Technology Industry, Bralirwa, Masaka Incubation Center and Nyarugunga TVET School
Kigali: On 10th October 2018, the Minister of State in Charge of TVET Olivier RWAMUKWAYA visited Afri-Precast Technology Industry, Bralirwa, Masaka Incubation Center and Nyarugunga TVET School in Kicukiro District.
During his tour in Afri-precast Technology Industry and Bralirwa. The Hon. Minister of State appreciated the big role played in assisting students from technical schools. He also respected the majority works and internship given to the students from Polytechnics. He requested for more partnership with technical colleges in their areas of expertise and invited them to take part in the upcoming TVET Week which will combine four events such as the Africa Skills Competition, TVET expo Symposium, and Made in Rwanda Exhibition.
He also visited Masaka Incubation Center and Nyarugunga TVET School in Kicukiro District. After touring the two schools, he identified various issues related to poor management. He gave clear guidance on how to address observed issues and requested the school managers and District staff in charge of education to collaborate in order to improve the teaching and learning status of the two visited schools.
