On 21st July 2022, RP signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Crane Foundation to establish a working relationship with RP/IPRC-KITABI through a Project entitled: "Securing & Improving the Ecological Integrity of RUGEZI Marsh in Rwanda for people, cranes & biodiversity".

The purpose of this agreement is to define the nature of the collaborate working relationship between the Parties with respect to the conservation of the environment and biodiversity in general and the promotion of the Project in particular.
