On 10^th December 2018, the Vice Chancellor Dr. James Gashumba officiated the handover between Deputy Vice Chancellors in charge of Administration and Finance .  

The outgoing Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Administration and Finance Musabe Liliane thanked Rwanda Polytechnic staff and her successor Dr. Luberwa Alex and promised to work hand in hand with the rest of the RP staff.

 During handover ceremony, the two RP senior officials expressed their passion and gratitude to be part of RP team as they continue to service in the same institution but on different roles, the ceremony which was chaired by Vice Chancellor of Rwanda Polytechnic

Mrs Musabe Liliane who has been the Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor(DVC) in charge of Administration and Finance expressed the fact that together with RP staff they served with zeal and commitment to the development of Rwanda Polytechnic since it is  a new institution  and she further wished her successor the best in his new assumed roles.

“I thank first of all Rwanda Polytechnic(RP) and the staff for their collaboration, Special thanks go to those that we shared day to day responsibilities and therefore wish Alex success in his new roles.” Liliane said during handover ceremony.

Liliane emphasized that the new Deputy Vice Chancellor Dr. Alex Luberwa is commissioned to work hard and pledged her support in case any need arises.

Dr. Alex Luberwa thanked Liliane and staff for their effort to shape and develop Rwanda Polytechnic and promised his continued support to strengthen RP family.

Dr. James Gashumba the Vice chancellor of Rwanda Polytechnic thanked for Liliane for her commitment and hard work to serve RP and further pledged his collaboration with the new DVC and assured to work as team in a unique and noble way to achieve Rwanda Polytechnic Vision.

Musabe Liliane was appointed the Corporate Services Division Manager for IPRC Karongi after serving as RP Acting DVC in charge of Administration and Finance for 5 months. Her Successor Dr. Alex Luberwa was the Coordinator for University of Rwanda- College of Business and Economics at Nyagatare Campus.
