Honorable Minister of State in charge of ICT & TVET Claudette IRERE has, on Friday 27^th May 2022, presided over the handover ceremony between Prof. Richard MUSABE, the incoming Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Training, Institutional, Development and Research at Rwanda Polytechnic and the outgoing DVC-TIDR Dr, Sylvie MUCYO, who has been appointed to serve as the Vice Chancellor in the same institution.

During this event, Prof. Richard MUSABE thanked His Excellency for the trust upon him to be among of the RP Managerial Team and he promised to put all his efforts experience to contribute to the vision and mission of Rwanda Polytechnic attainment.

Dr. Sylvie MUCYO, the Vice Chancellor of Rwanda Polytechnic, appreciated the presence of Honorable Minister in the handover ceremony and she also thanked his Excellency Paul KAGAME and the Ministry of Education for their support towards provision of the staff capable and ready to serve RP community. She stated that she has hope that it is an opportunity for them to perform at the highest level and be productive and models in service delivery to Rwanda Polytechnic's clients.

In her remarks, Honorable Minister, congratulated Dr. Sylvie MUCYO who was appointed by the Cabinet meeting held on 13^th May 2022 as the Vice Chancellor of Rwanda Polytechnic and welcomed the new DVC of Training, Institutional, Development and Research Prof. MUSABE for his new journey in TVET Sector and encouraged them to work as a team for achieving the mandate of Rwanda Polytechnic.Dr. Sylvie, the Vice Chancellor of Rwanda Polytechnic and Prof. Richard MUSABE, the Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Training, Institutional, Development and Research
