Hon. IRERE handed over the National flag to Rwandan Competitors heading to Namibia for WorldSkills Africa Competition
On 24 March 2022, the Minister of State in Charge of ICT and TVET, Hon. Claudette IRERE handed over the National flag to four Rwandan Competitors heading to Swakopmund, Namibia for WorldSkills Africa Competition. The WorldSkills Africa Competition will take place from 28th March to 2nd April 2022.
The Minister of State in Charge of ICT and TVET encouraged them and requested to try their best and raise the National flag in Namibia.
While visiting them on 18th March 2022 in IPRC Kigali (in coaching activity), Hon.Irere thanked them for winning the National Skills Competition 2021 and requested to represent well the country, win the WorldSkills Africa Competition and bring the Golden medals.
The Ag. Vice Chancellor of Rwanda Polytechnic, Dr. Sylvie Mucyo thanked the competitors and wished them the best of luck and asked them to learn from others and the areas / fields to be improved in TVET.
Competitors to attend this WorldSkills Africa competition are competing in four Skills Areas Namely Bricklaying, Plumbing and Heating, Electrical installation and Welding.
