Empowering Scholars Through Industry Exposure: RP Girls Scholarship Program Visits Iriba Water Group
As part of the RP Girls Scholarship Program, scholars receive more than just financial support—they gain invaluable social mentoring, soft skills training, and professional mentoring to prepare them for successful careers. A key component of professional mentoring includes company visits, offering scholars firsthand experience in real-world business environments.
One such visit recently took place for scholars enrolled in the Water & Sanitation Technology program, who were hosted by Iriba Water Group Ltd., a leading social enterprise providing innovative water solutions across Rwanda.
During the visit, scholars explored Iriba’s business model, water laboratory, and the Tap&Drink system, gaining deep insights into the company’s work in water purification and accessibility. The interactive session allowed scholars to engage with industry professionals, ask insightful questions, and learn about potential internship and employment opportunities.
