With the aim of nurturing young innovators in different areas of Multimedia, the management of Rwanda Polytechnic is pleased to inform interested applicants that RP is planning to offer short term trainings through the ICT Innovation center.
Objectives:
These trainings are projects based and designed to foster skill development, and promote meaningful engagement with the real world projects focusing on hands-on learning through the completion of real-world problems or project ideas. After completion, trainees will be equipped with technical skills to support their entrepreneurial projects.
Targeted audience:
These trainings targeting those having business project or idea in fields of Image editing and Film making wishing to gain skills to support them in polishing their ideas and realize their business dreams.
Those who will successfully complete the training and start their businesses, will be eligible to apply for one-year incubation period in the ICT innovation center
Trainings will focus on the fields described below:
A. Image editing (Duration: 3 months).
- Cut outs
- Alpha-masking
- Multi-path
- Retouching
- Color Correction
B. Film making (Duration: 3 months).
- Storytelling and script writing
- Concepts of cinematography
- Editing
- Color correction
- Sound recording and mixing
- Concepts of photography
- Motion graphic and visual effect.
Interested candidates should have completed at least secondary school (A level) and have an innovative project Idea related to the field of interest as described above.
